Gracie's Angels

Please allow us to introduce and tell you a little about ourselves.  Chris and Danielle Woehr have lived in beautiful Central Florida for over fifty years, collectively.  Chris is a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and has over thirteen years of law enforcement experience.  Danielle is a Regional Business Manager for a telephone communications company and has worked in the field for over ten years. 

How We Arrived Where We Are Today

In 2002, Danielle expressed an interest to get a dog that she could call her own.  Danielle had always longed for a chocolate Lab but the time was finally right to add a new member to the family.  So Chris set out on a journey to find the perfect Lab to surprise Danielle for Christmas.  After researching the many breeders and kennels, Chris soon found out that the task at hand was easier said than done.  Nothing seemed to "feel" right until one day when he called a breeder who had a litter of chocolate Labs.  The breeder told Chris that there were only two unsold puppies, so Chris set out on the long drive first thing the next morning.  As Chris pulled up, the breeder happened to be showing the last two puppies to a customer in the front yard.  As Chris got out of his car and made his way through the yard, one of the puppies stopped playing and ran over to him.  Chris knew immediately that this little girl was "the one" and his search was over.

Lady Grace "Gracie" Angel forever changed our lives and has been bringing us joy ever since.  When it was time find a yellow boy for Chris, we again set out to find the right dog.  We were very lucky to find "LuAnn" who has been breeding Labs for decades.  After speaking with and meeting LuAnn, we again knew we had found the right breeder.  So we "ordered" a yellow male and waited and waited and waited.  Finally LuAnn called and said some yellows should arrive soon.  LuAnn took us under her wing and taught us about "breeding".  She graciously allowed us to be a part of the birthing of our new puppy, Sir "Elliott" Aurelius.  

When we realized how happy these Labs make us, we decided that we wanted others to experience that same joy, so in 2006 "Gracie's Angels " was born.  Thank you for visiting.
