Labradors Bred for Excellence

Occasionally, as we travel through life, our paths cross with special people.  When you are lucky enough to meet these people, you instantly know they are different than most folks you meet.  It may be in a spoken word, a casual glance or a grand gesture.  Regardless of how you know, you just know.  And hopefully you realize that you were fortunate enough to create a lifelong bond.

In 2006, I was fortunate enough to create one of these rare bonds.  I called Rebecca "Becky" Montgomery Bailey, at Tarrah Labradors, (http://tarrahlabs.com) to inquire about her kennel's stud service.  Little did I know then, that the relationship I forged with her and her daughter, Leigh, would be so special.

Throughout the past few years, Becky and Leigh have always been there for me as a resource in the "World of Labs".  Whether it was to answer a question, get an opinion or just talk Labs, they could always be counted on.  They have shared the joys of litters conceived and the disappointments of missed opportunities.

Becky and Leigh are truly giving people who never fail to put the breed above all else.  They are unselfish and giving and for this I wish to offer my sincere thanks.  Becky, Leigh...Thank you very much.

Special thanks to Bonnie Hall at Lugger Labradors (luggerlabradors.com).  In addition to providing Grange as the stud for a previous litter, Bonnie always makes herself available for advice, a helping hand or a chat when needed.  Thanks again, Bonnie.

Thank you to Abby Crosby at Sky Farm Labradors in Massachusetts.  Abby is a new friend that has lent an ear on several occasions and shared her lessons and experiences.  The example of professionalism Abby sets is beyond reproach.  The Labrador Community is richer because of Abby's participation.
